Re: How do I run Tecknaro on a Mac?

Although Tecknaro currently requires installation under Microsoft Windows, I have had success using the free and open-source VirtualBox emulation software available from http://www.VirtualBox.org installed within both Apple Macintosh and Linux environments. Using virtual hardware emulation does requ...

Re: Represent Multiple Operating Systems in a System Mingus

Just an update to say that, in working practice of managing multiple operating installs, the last recommendation to specify an additional System Mingus declaring an operating mode in the Mingus title via parenthesis has worked the best so far. This allows for canvas viewers to readily understand tha...

Just attempted to add some text to an internal detail Mingus and found that text over 7 character elements long overflows the detail form at 112% zoom level. See attached image.

Re: Represent Managed Network Switch Ports

Thank you for the detailed answer; this is what I was looking for. I used port assignments on another device on my canvas to represent video monitoring connections, but did not remember to try the port option to place it within NIC. Basically, the trouble I was having was attempting to connect a NIC...

Represent Managed Network Switch Ports

I'm trying to figure out how to represent managed switch ports in the Systems Canvas. So far I can easily link a NIC to a switch's upper rack handle, but it lacks the specificity required. In larger network configurations it is common to see a specific NIC connected to a specific network jack port w...

Represent Ethernet Addresses on the Systems Canvas

Is there a recommended method for representing multiple Ethernet addresses associated with NIC cards and Wireless cards/access points on the Systems Canvas? I notice the Network Address node being associated with the NIC commonly used for Internet Protocol (IP) numbers in the tutorials, but it is co...
